My Go To Makeup Brushes

During my first few years of wearing makeup consistently, I spend way more money than I would like to admit on brushes. I kinda thought the more expensive brushes were “better,” and throughout my years of wearing makeup I’ve found that is not the case. Well for me at least! Yes, I’m sure those $100 brushes feel super nice on your face, but Throughout my years of wearing makeup I have found very affordable brushes that get the job done! I have made a list of my go to brushes that are all $15 and under. Brushes are part of your makeup collection that are going to last a long time. And if you’re a babe on a budget, get one or two now, and add more when you have extra money to treat yo self!

1// BRONZER BRUSH

This Morphe R2 Pro Tapered Powder brush is my go to for bronzer. The bristles feel so nice on my face, and it applies the bronzer beautifully. This brush is $15!!

2// BLUSH BRUSH

This Morphe B3 Chisel Blush brush is easily one of my all time favorites. It picks up the product so nicely, and literally applies every ounce of product onto my skin. This one is $6!!!!

3//BLENDING CREASE BRUSH

This brush is perfect for blending your eyeshadow into the crease of your eyelid. A little tip if your in a hurry, use your bronzer as your eyelid crease color and boom you’re done! $8!!

4// EYE SHADOW BRUSH

I love this brush for applying the based color of my eyeshadow all over my eyelid. This is the brush I use before I use the brush mentioned above. $8

5// UNDER EYE COLOR CORRECTING BRUSH

This is the perfect brush for taking care of those dark circles under your eyes. It packs the product under eye so you don’t have to worry about looking tired. I can’t go a day without using this baby! Only $3!!!

6// CONTOUR BRUSH

This brush is the newest to my collection. I love my bronzer brush so much that I mentioned earlier, but I was looking for more of a “contour” brush, and this one is the best I’ve found. It applies the bronzer perfectly under your cheek bones for the best looking contour!! $6!!

7//EYEBROW BRUSH

I really don’t do much to my eyebrows on a daily basis, but I do use this brush to brush them up, and apply a little bit of a dark color to fill in the few patches I may have. It’s a good one!! $3!!!

8// POWDER BRUSH

This full powder brush has probably been in my collection the longest. I’ve found that it applies my powder so smoothly, and it’s seriously so soft! And it’s under $10!

9// BEAUTY SPONGE

Another one of my favs. I literally can not do my makeup without this lovie. I am constantly reaching for this when applying my makeup, and I’ve found that it applies my foundation and concealer so seamlessly. Tip: use it damp for a smoother application!
