Beauty Products For The Girl On A Budget

It’s so easy for me to run into my local Ulta, Target, or WalMart, and literally go crazy in the drugstore beauty aisle, because everything is at such great price points. But just because it’s affordable doesn’t mean it’s a winner! When I’m searching for affordable beauty product, I’m looking for items that are just as good, if not better than my high-end products! You would be surprised at the amount of affordable items that I think are better than high end items. Sooo I’ve gathered together a list of the products that I feel like are definitely better than the more expensive options.

1// NYX Lip Butter

These are by far the best drugstore lip glosses. They are literally so affordable, and the application is flawless. There are SEVERAl color choices! I tend to gravitate towards nude, and pink with nude undertones, and I have fallen in love with the colors Crème Brulee, Fortune Cookie, and Angel Food Cake. The smell is amazing, and the price is even better! Under $5!! YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT…UNDER $5!!

2// Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer

This is my all time favorite drugstore concealer. The spongy brush is perfect for a smooth application. This concealer has the perfect consistency, and there are many color tones for you to pick your perfect shade! This product is also very affordable! Under $10, and literally last sooo long!!

3// L’ORÉAL Voluminous Original Mascara

I can not say enough good things about this mascara. It has for sure changed the mascara game for me! I personally do not like (on me) super thick, caked on mascara. It just honestly doesn’t look natural on me. I have naturally long eye-lashes so I don’t really need a lot of mascara. Just enough to highlight the length I already have.  And this mascara does just that for me. It is the perfect amount for the look I’m going for. I usually just do one application, but it is definitely buildable. I would say that this product is perfect for any mascara look you like best! It is also very affordable. Under $8. I would confidently say that I will NEVER by another mascara. This is my all time favorite!!!!

4// Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation

This foundation is SOO must better than most high-end foundations that I’ve tried. AND its under $8. HOW CAN YOU BEAT THAT PRICE? You can’t for the quality of this foundation. I get more compliments when I wear this foundation than ever before. I’ve linked the FitMe Matte Foundation, and I love this one over the FitMe Dewy Foundation because I have super oily skin, and the matte option just works best with my skin type. If you have dry skin, and need more hydration I would recommend the FitMe Dewy option for you. My foundation is FitMe MATTE–color 120!

5// Maybelline Shine Free Oil Control Loose Powder

This loose powder has been a life saver when it comes to my oily skin. Throughout the day this powder controls my shiny skin. It’s not heavy at all. It leaves my skin looking flawless, and continues the flawless and smooth look throughout the long days! This is also great for the girl on a budget. It’s under $6!!

I am a fan of all of these budget friendly products. I am a firm believer on saving money where and when you can. I’m all for splurging on a few items that are excellent, but it’s not realistic for everyone to be able to afford all high-end products. And because this is reality for me, i was on the hunt for high quality budget friendly products that are just as good if not better than my high-end products. I found just that in all five of these products! And not to mention you can get all five of these products for under $50!!!!
